These ice pops are sweet and refreshing, just like a Plumsicle...only colder. The frosty treats are simple to make and can easily become an adult only ice pop by adding a wine of your choice part way through the process.
Begin by heating 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water in a small saucepan. Once the sugar is dissolved and the mixture begins to simmer, add in 6 Plumsicles that have been cut into slices.
Allow the fruit to cook until it is softened — about a minute or two. Then, allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Place the mixture in the blender and blend until smooth. Add more water if needed.
*If you would like to make wine pops, add one cup of wine to the blender during this step.
Pour your Plumsicle puree into freezer molds and place in the freezer overnight.
